Now in it's 12th year, the Basildon district branch of the Essex Business Awards is organised by Echo Newspapers. Do you know a business that is deserving of nomination?

The awards aim to showcase the Basildon district as a forward thinking, progressive area, with developing business throughout a wide variety of sectors & markets. They offer great opportunities for networking & relationship building, and encourage investors to stay active in the area. Attaining an award is also good for employee morale, and client confidence.

The awards are judged by top businesses and exectuives within the Basildon area, including Alison Stewart, operations manager at Argos' distribution centre in the town.

The awards will be held on Friday 11th July 2008 at the Towngate Theatre in Basildon town centre, with a black tie dinner dance presentation.
